[Opinion Piece]

So now that KSP 2 has stopped development you may be wondering what else may take its place. Well boy, do I have the answer for you and its name is Juno's new origins.

Now let's look at the positives of this contender:

The one thing that makes Juno's new origins stand out from the rest is customisation.

We are talking about not just procedural wings but engines landing gear, and fuel tanks too.

So for example, you can have a full flow stage aerospike engine attached to a 9m tank with oversized landing gear.

This customization has led to some of the most realistic recreations I have seen yet, and it's thanks to the website-based craft sharing. You click download and it's all ready in the game for you to fly.

Another thing that makes this game stand out is VIZZY. VIZZY is a visual block-based coding language that allows you to make widgets, display info, and control your craft. It is quite similar to scratch but it has more complex tasks and options.

Now onto the downsides:

this game has minimal downsides but is still worth mentioning for this to be a fair review. The biggest downside is its controls. In the game, there is a control wheel for heading and pitch; for new users, this is a steep learning curve.

Another downside is the fact that the human equivalent (called Droods) isn't as cute as the kerbals we know and love. Furthermore, the terrain on the planets is quite drab and it needs mods. (again the website allows you to share them).

Now the upsides far exceed the downsides and overall this brings the KSP feel of rocketry for all users including mobile alike. My final score is 9/10.
